  • The Dairy segment accounts for just over 10% of global new product development in the food industry in the past five years.
  • “Spoonable Yoghurts” is the largest sub-category of the Dairy segment in terms of NPD, followed by “Hard & Semi-Hard Cheese”. “Drinking Yoghurt & Liquid Cultured Milk”, and “Soft & Semi-Soft Cheese”.
  • Plant-based drinks account for approximately 7,5% of NPD in the Dairy segment.
  • The market share of Dairy NPD has increased in recent years, going from 9,91% in 2016 to 10,70% in 2020.
