Fromatech Ingredients B.V. is an international company that develops, produces, sells and distributes a wide range of innovative products for the food- and beverage-industry (think about flavors, cheese powders and seasonings). From our head office in the Netherlands and our regional sales offices in Eastern- and Western Europe, the Middle East, Russia and Ukraine, we ensure – together with our team of distributors – that our customers in more than 70 countries are supplied with Fromatech products.
About the role
• You are responsible for achieving the sales target in the DACH countries (Germany, Austria, Switzerland);
• You work independently and acquire new customers to conclude new agreements;
• You visit prospects and you look for opportunities in the market;
• You manage relationships with existing customers;
• You are responsible for the account management of direct customers in the aforementioned regions;
• You build strong relationships at all levels, both internally and externally;
• You administrate and coordinate sales activities, including planning, analyzes and forecasts, in close cooperation with the Sales Director Europe;
• You investigate the market for information about products, market trends and competition;
• You are responsible for generating New Business Development;
• You are familiar with the competition and are aware of the latest developments in the market;
• You are responsible for preparing quotations in collaboration with the colleagues involved;
• You are responsible for the sales objectives;
• Together with customer service, you guide the entire process from request till delivery of the order;
• On average 50%-60% of the regular working time consists of travel.
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Commerce, Business or related to sales;
• Minimum 3-5 years of working experience. Experience in the Food industry and sales is desired;
• You are informed of the latest trends and developments in the market;
• Fluent speaking and writing in German and English;
• You have an eye for opportunities and you have a commercial attitude;
• You have good communication skills; you are curious and you know how the food industry works;
• You are an initiator;
• You are a networker;
• You are flexible and the travelling part of the job is no problem;
• You live at least one hour travel distance from Sittard-Netherlands
